The new Mega Ink Ball ™ fills and writes just like our favorite fountain pens! But look it's a roller ball! How does Monteverde do that you ask? Quite simply, although with a unique patented innovation. The tungsten carbide roller ball head, when dipped in a bottle of ink, draws your supply through the ball, up through a threaded converter into the pen's reservoir. The point is that you can now use any bottled ink color you wish and - enjoy the thrill of writing with liquid ink without a typical fountain pen nib! You can also use any standard ink cartridge in place of the ink reservoir. The Monteverde Mega Ink Ball™ offers the smoothest and most versatile liquid writing experience available today! Whether you choose to use a convenient ink cartridge or draw your own ink, the fluid experience will be the same. Mega ™ is offered in two sizes; an over sized pen in rich black hand-turned Italian grade acrylic resins (for those who like to live big), as well as a standard size burgundy resin pen.Both models are presented in a special luxury kit that includes three extra front sections and a bottle of quality Monteverde black ink.
