This Pelikan has a very lightweight look but don't let that fool you. It's a typical medium weight and most closely resembles the Pelikan 600 Series of pens. Not too light, certainly not heavy. The nib is the standard hand made Pelikan 18kt gold nib which flows beautifully full. Like most Pelikan, the fountain pen is filled by the internal piston. The roller ball has a separate cap and the ballpoint is twist-action.
