Waterman Expert Lacquer

Our customers frequently call us to replace a valued Waterman Expert they have mistakenly loaned and now is lost. Gentle changes have been made to this favorite line since its 1992 inception. A transition from resin to handsome, lacquered finishes; a new slant to the Waterman cap button; and the fountain pen nib received new flourishes. As times changed, finishes were added and dropped. Hence it is often difficult to offer a clone of their original Expert, but they are usually overjoyed with their new Waterman Expert.

Waterman marks 2011 as the season of new finishes, new trim and improved refill technology for Experts. If classic is your style, opt for deep black lacquer with either 23.3k light gold plating or silver palladium plating. The powerful black matte finish and deep taupe finishes sport the complimentary palladium trim. The contemporary stainless with vertical brush finish is accessorized with either light gold or palladium plated trim. All these options allow you to hone in on your particular style and statement. The new Waterman logo on the clean center ring identifies this Expert as a 2011 vintage, as do the more sophisticated trim colors. Fountain pens feature a medium point, steel nibs bearing pronounced Waterman markings. Refill your Expert fountain pen with Waterman ink cartridges in a vast array of colors or order a Waterman converter to load your own distinctive bottled ink. If your lifestyle better fits a Waterman Expert rollerball, all elegant finishes are still available as well as a range of easy refill options in loads of colors. The capless, twist top ballpoints are again finished and trimmed to your liking and Waterman has upgraded their standard ballpoint refill for smoother writing experience. Liquid and gel inks are also available.
