because virtually all Pelikans use bottled ink only. In recent years, Pelikan has begun to address the majority of customers who prefer the convenience of cartridges.
Meet the new Pelikan Ductus. Cartridge filled with an 18k gold nib. The body is a high-grade hand-turned resin. The appointments and ornamental striping are platinum or gold plated. The clip is a delicate interpretation of a pelican's beak. The ballpoint will accept any of dozens of refill colors and technologies. A rollerball and mechanical pencil are also offered.
