Classic Tweed Design Returns
Conklin Pen Company combines new technology with original designs dating back to the 1920s. The Herringbone collection uses blueprints from the 1923 Duragraph model. Although lever fillers are gone, the basic shape and trim of this earlier fountain pen sparked the Herringbone's creation. Using computerized engraving, the unique deep pattern is cut on airplane-grade aluminum, then covered with special translucent colored acrylic and coated with several layers of epoxy. The famous Conklin crescent is engraved around the center ring and Conklin 1898 logo atop the cap. Fountain pen available with fine, medium or broad two-tone steel nib. Choose a ballpoint, rollerball or fountain pen in deep sea blue, slate gray, sunrise orange, spring pink or golden yellow.
