Among the masterpieces of Louis C. Tiffany (1848-1933) were two majestic columns inlaid with mosaic whose tesserae, or small squares, harked back to Byzantine and Roman art. This slender column of a pen captures the same shimmering brilliance of the originals, shot through with blue and gold tesserae that Louis C. Tiffany patterned. One of the original columns is part of the Museum's collection. This design – rich, graceful, understated – can be part of your collection. Select a capped rollerball model or a twist-top ballpoint.
