While reminiscent of legendary architecture, the Cross Spire rollerball is all new technology inside and out. On the three etched models, the triangular diamond pattern is created in polished PVD on both the black caviar and golden shimmer finishes. Physical vapor deposition is a method of applying a titanium alloy on the brass base components and then polished to sheer perfection. The icy chrome finish is polished chrome alone. Cross has now expanded the series with smooth lacquer finishes in black or red. Both of the lacquer finishes may be engraved. A new, slim, gel ink Cross rollerball refill is available in black or blue ink with a .7mm point. May we suggest you give a Cross Spire rollerball to your favorite ladder climber?
