The barrel is decorated using the traditional Japanese raden technique of combining hundreds of tiny multi-colored abalone shell fragments, then finished with 10 layers of hand-applied lacquer. The rhodium appointments nicely set off this distinctive finish. Of course, the unique retractable 18 k gold nib makes this a standout among fountain pen enthusiasts. Pilot ink cartridges for your Pilot fountain pen

The ink in the Pilot Ink Cartridge has been developed especially with a Pilot fountain pen in mind. This ink cartridge will fit in ONLY Pilot fountain pens. Confirm the shape (shoulder on end to be inserted and edge on the other end) and the length. One box contains 12 of the same color cartridges. Black, blue, blue/black, green, purple or red ink cartridges available. Unsure of the color you favor, try the multi-color 12-pack for two samples of each color available.
