Textile Gustav Klimt In 1905, the Wiener Werkstate ("Vienna Workshops") began producing printed and woven textiles, many designed by artists such as the Austrian painter, Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). This pen recreates a printed textile designed about 1920 by Klimt, and now in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
