The Ritma™ collection is inspired by the minimalist movement of the 1960’s and 70’s, where clean lines, straightforward designs and beautiful colors were prominent. Machined to perfection using a mixture of steel and aluminum, the Ritma™ fountain pen boasts a streamlined design from magnetic cap top to back post, perfect for those who prefer a somewhat heavier pen. 

A First; A Sealed Cap

An exciting feature is the pen’s sealed magnetic cap. Gently pull and enjoy the striking pop-action sound of the seal opening. To reveal the ballpoint tip, twist counterclockwise at the gunmetal grip area.

Each aluminum barrel is anodized and treated with a matte finish, resulting in vibrant colors that are soft to the touch and beautifully accentuated with polished gunmetal accents. The clip is designed to match the straight lines of the body style with an extra flair, the center cut in an elongated oval shape for ease of use. 

The fountain pen is available in a selection of black stainless-steel nibs: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. Ritma uses standard international cartridges or an ink converter that is included.

    Much Better Writing Than Anticipated

    I guess I'm hard on or negligent about my fountain pens. After loosing a couple of Mount Blancs and destroying several Watermans over the years, I decided to try an inexpensive fountain pen on the theory that I won't cry as much over shelling out $50 as I would over parting with another $350-500. This pen doesn't write as smoothly as one of the gold-nibbed beauties but, as it breaks in, it writes better than I'd expected or hoped. In fact I would have given it five stars except for the fact that the converter for bottled ink has a propensity for coming loose at the collar where it fits into the nib assembly. The mess is minimal but the problem is detected when I run out of ink much sooner than anticipated. I'm going to try the international standard cartridges and hope that the problem doesn't persist. I'm enjoying writing with this instrument (a VERY pleasant surprise).

    Exceptional Value For An Everyday Pen

    The magnetic cap system works excellent. I have yet to need to prime any of them to get them started I brought 2 of these initially and have purchased four more. My friend borrowed mine and then ordered two of them because he liked them so much. I prefer the fine nib but I've been using the medium nib reversed just fine. Excellent every day pen.
